The Waubedonia Soccer Club (WSC) exists to provide a positive recreational soccer experience for youth in the rural areas of Fredonia/Waubeka, located in northern Ozaukee County. WSC works to develop and enhance player skills while promoting competition and sportsmanship for the game. Unlike many other area clubs, WSC does not provide an outlet for those players seeking academy or select league play.
The emphasis is on sportsmanship, skill development, teamwork and participation.
1. Teams typically hold one or two practices per week.
2. Volunteer coaches determine the practice day and time.
3. Games are played Saturday in the morning or early afternoon.
4. Game locations may include Cedar Grove, Fredonia, Howards Grove, Kiel, New Holstein, Plymouth, Random Lake, and Saukville.
We are a community-based club that typically has 90-150
active players. Many previous players become referees for the club. Many
players move on to area select teams as they age out of Waubedonia's
offerings. Some players have become coaches at WSC and beyond. Many
parents play an active role in coaching and player development. WSC's
program feeds players to Northern Ozaukee School District and other
regional prep programs.
